O.E. freo "free, exempt from, not in bondage," also "noble, joyful," from P.Gmc. The adv. is from O.E. freon, freogan "to free, love." The primary sense seems to have been "beloved, friend, to love;" Sense of "given without cost" is 1585, from notion of "free of cost."
my FREE saturday..
Started the day at 8am on the tennis court with some beloved hyperactive OCF guys (and gurl!) =).. talk about FREEdom.. we were practically flying! hehe.. [reminds me of our Big Foot gang in KEC..] among the matches we had :
** Gurlz vs guys
** PJ/Subang vs KLANG!!
** Lefties vs right-handers
After that we crashed the Hall's Urban Life for some BBQ in our busuk attire.. (i thought it was FREE, but guess not.. hehehe.. no offense..) it was great fun!! especially the POTATO SALAD and the FRISBEE game! =D
That's our beloved Jem Ye Ye - the founder of the new Chinese-speaking Club.. official greeting "sher mo shang?" = "what's up?" hehe.. =D
